How does AI tarot reading work?

In two steps. First, a vision model reads your photo to identify each card and whether it's upright or reversed. Second, a language model interprets the full spread in context, grounded in the traditional Waite meanings — so the reading reflects established tarot tradition rather than generic guesses.

Is AI tarot accurate?

Can I learn tarot with Cartomania?

Do I need physical tarot cards?

No. Photograph a real spread if you have a deck, or build a spread digitally inside the app without any physical cards.

Which spreads does Cartomania support?

From a single card and three-card past/present/future to larger layouts like the Celtic Cross, relationship, and year-ahead spreads. Available spreads depend on your membership tier.

Is Cartomania free?

There's a free tier with a daily reading. Paid memberships add more spreads, photo card recognition, saved reading history, and deeper interpretations — with a free trial on paid tiers.

Is my data private?
