This policy explains what Cartomania (operated by Auroquix Inc.) collects and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and password (stored securely), plus optional details you provide.
- Reading content — the spreads you create, photos of cards you upload, your stated intent for a reading, and the interpretations generated for you.
- Billing information — handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the app is used.
2. How we use it
- To identify the cards in your photos and generate your readings.
- To provide your account, history, and subscription features.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. Card photos
Photos you upload are processed to identify the tarot cards in your spread. They are sent to our AI provider only for that purpose and are not used to advertise to you or sold to anyone.
4. Service providers
We rely on trusted third parties to run Cartomania: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and AI providers (OpenAI and Google) which process spread images and text to produce readings. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
5. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share your readings with other users.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and reading data while your account is active. You can delete saved readings, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact us at the address below.
8. Children
Cartomania is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
