Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language draft provided for transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel before being relied upon.

Welcome to Cartomania ("Cartomania", "we", "us"), a service operated by Auroquix Inc. By creating an account or using the Cartomania website and app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. Cartomania is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

Cartomania offers a free tier and paid memberships. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the in-app billing portal; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. The nature of the Service

Cartomania provides AI-generated tarot interpretations for self-reflection and entertainment. Readings are not predictions of the future and are not a substitute for professional advice — including medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access it through unauthorized means, reverse-engineering or scraping it, uploading unlawful or infringing content, or interfering with its operation or security.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and content, is owned by Auroquix Inc. and its licensors. The interpretations generated for you are for your personal use. Traditional tarot card meanings are drawn from A.E. Waite's Pictorial Key to the Tarot (1910), which is in the public domain.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auroquix Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Service over time; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
